The Ancillary Claims Specialist will be responsible for the organization's flexible spending account and tuition reimbursement benefits.
This includes processing claims, auditing reimbursement requests, and answering phone calls from plan participants and clients.
The position resides in a commercial office setting.
Remote equipment is provided for business continuity purposes for all trained employees, but the candidates must be capable of working onsite full-time, especially during introductory training period (roughly 90 days).
Responsibilities o Review, adjudicate, and remit/deny claims for clients with employer-sponsor benefit plans related to flexible spending accounts and tuition reimbursement plans o Answer participant and client calls to resolve benefit inquiries pertaining to flexible spending accounts and tuition reimbursement plans o Engage in dialogue with clients to review and update policies and procedures relating to the administrated benefit plan(s) o Serve as internal subject matter expert for flexible spending accounts and tuition reimbursement plans and communicate any compliance or operational changes to other department leaders o Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
o High school degree or GED, with relevant industry experience (as detailed below) o Healthcare of health-related experience with respect to operations support, including provider maintenance, billing, coding, or customer support.
o Past exposure to employee benefits also desired o Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to integrate and learn new systems o Demonstrated telephonic customer service experience o Capable of high-pace multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines
