As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing our cybersecurity infrastructure.
This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity, strong technical skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team.
The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our critical systems and data.
ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, design, plan and implement aspects of a global security platform to include data center and cloud systemsParticipate in multi-discipline design and architecture teams to provide solutionsCreate and present reporting information; updating process documents and other duties as requiredThis position requires a broad range of familiarity with principles, theories, concepts, and technologies as well as applied knowledge of established procedures, policies, and practicesAssess the effectiveness of existing security controls and provide recommendations.
Develops report of recommendations for customer remediation to fill identified gaps in securityRecommends operationally feasible and cost-effective solutions to reduce risk, as appropriateSupport and configure a CSPM platform by configuring alerts and reportingLead implementation projects for security technologies to include operational documentation and handoff.
Evaluate AWS and Azure cloud configurations from a security perspective and present recommendations for remediation.
Requirements7
years Information Security compliance, security engineering or architecture experience.
Experience with security configurations in AWS and AzureKnowledge of relevant CIS security controls for cloud and data centerExperience with network security and firewall technologiesKnowledge of security architecture design principles in a global organizationStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work in a team environmentExperience leading a technology implementation projectPreferred SASE experience (ie.
Zscaler)Preferred experience with DevOps automation tools (ie.
Ansible, Jenkins, and Terraform) is a plusPreferred Palo Alto Prisma Cloud experiencePreferred SIEM experienceThe US base range for this contract position is $90-$100/hour.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
