Timberland PRO Account Executive (WA/AK)

Job Description
Job Summary: As part of Timberland's PRO Sales Team, this higher level, experienced Account Executive is responsible for representing the Timberland PRO brand with retailers and other prospective customers while developing long term business relationships.

1. Identifies opportunities in the marketplace to place Timberland PRO footwear and Workwear through multiple channels of distribution in Washington and Alaska. % of Time Involved: 20%, Relative Importance: 4-High
2. Creates a service distinction with our retail partners through detailed account planning and a thorough understanding of our customers business. % of Time Involved: 20%, Relative Importance: 4-High
3. Meets and exceeds assigned seasonal sales operating plans (sell in and sell through) for an assigned territory and/or an assigned group of accounts. % of Time Involved: 20%, Relative Importance: 4-High
4. Identifies new account opportunities in order to meet growth targets, possesses a thorough understanding of the marketplace (competitor information, consumer understanding, current/future market penetration, etc) and helps drive forecast accuracy. % of Time Involved: 20%, Relative Importance: 4-High
5 Develop and successfully leverage cross-functional internal relationships (In House Sales, Sales Planning, Marketing, Credit, etc). % of Time Involved: 10%, Relative Importance: 3- Medium
6. Ensures proper visual standards are being adhered to by our customers, works proactively and collaboratively with customers to properly leverage marketing programs and supports and leverages Timberland's commerce and justice platform. % of Time Involved: 10%, Relative Importance: 3 - Medium
Job Requirements:
Must live in: Eastern Pennsylvania or New Jersey
Years of Related Professional Experience: 7+ years Footwear sales experience in a similar industry required and a minimum of 3 years selling to the safety/trade industry preferred.
Educational/Position Requirements: BS or equivalent required.
Required Licenses/Certifications: Basic computer skills, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements: Overnight domestic travel up to 90%.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
